Forgot about Missions trip to Calvary Chapel Ensenada, Mexico in Feb 2008. Great trip, great guys, great experience.
Plus I got trive a Dozer(D6) and a roller. Dumped rain absolutely the entire time, solid mud. Stayed in Puerto Nuevo, lobster and tortillias and the best carne asada tacos on the planet a block from Juans' church.

Have a couple goals....

Finish, 4:15 or better, under 4 hours, wanting a 3:45 and I beleive its possible. 3;30 a little much.

Also, Chad and I had a brilliant Idea after watching Showtime Special ' Run the Sahara'. We want run from Oceanside harbor in north San Diego to Arizona border. 194 miles along the 78 hwy.

So I guess I need to update my posts from 2007.

Boston Marathon on 6 weeks training (longest run 14), race was 42 and windy. 4:27:18 I guess it will do since I couldn't train.

Also did Vineman Half Ironman 70.3 in Sonoma in 2007. 5:54:02. Again, not too bad sicne I wrecked my knee running Boston marathon. But hey, its Boston.

Whoa... make that 2 years I guess.

Been a year?

Saw Alens blog and it reminded me I had this. Been a year since I was here. Lets see, in that time I bonked with heat exhaustion in 100+ heat at Xterra West Championship 2008. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYszQsI34hs&feature=channel_page

Lost 15 lbs since this time last year.

Asked for races for B-day and Xmas. Got cash and races, score! Got the stomach flu day before carlsbad race, still made an 8:23 pace, not bad.
